Membership is open to lawyers licensed in the state of Arkansas, including lawyers engaged in private practice, lawyers engaged in an in-house or corporate counsel practice, lawyers employed by federal, state or local governmental bodies,
or lawyers employed by institutions of higher learning.

To be eligible for membership, a lawyer must be:

A member in good stating with the Arkansas State Bar; and
Devote a substantial amount of professional time to advising businesses or governmental bodies, or educating lawyers or law students on matters of interest to the defense bar, or to handling of litigated cases and whose representation is primarily for the defense.

How to Apply

If you meet the eligibility requirements, applying for membership is as simple as applying online. For your convenience, an online application is provided below. Simply fill in the fields and submit.

You will be notified of the action taken by the Committee and, if approved, you will be sent a statement for the annual dues of $150.00 for members.

Membership Renewal

All AADC members must renew their membership annually. Members have the option of renewing Online.

Members also have the option of printing the Membership Renewal Form and mailing it along with payment to the address shown on the form.
